Athens Half Day Tour
If you desire to discover the basic monuments of Athens, only in a few hours, then the half-day tour has been created just for you.
About
Starting early in the morning from our meeting point, we will head directly to Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. Up to this day it remains a cultural symbol and a true gem for the city. You will have enough time to take photographs.
Furthermore, we will walk by the most famous attractions of Athens.
More specifically:
- The sacred rock of the Acropolis
- Syntagma Square
- The Old Parliament
- Zappeion Mansion
- The National Garden
- Adrian’s Arch
- The University and the Academy of Athens
- National Library
- The Schliemann House (Monetary Museum)
Of course, we cannot miss the “Neighborhood of Gods”, also known as Plaka, an old historical area near Acropolis. Plaka is an attraction pole for both locals and travellers. The last stop of the tour has to be Lycabettus hill. The hill is ideal for its panoramic view and a perfect spot for photographers. At the top you will see the church of St. George.
